Laurie,

Please let it be understood that in no way have I intended to imply that
because MJF has money he does not suffer this disease the same as those of us
who are not so financially fortunate. He has worked hard to earn his money,
and certainly deserves the creature comforts it can provide him. And I am sure
he feels the discomfort and the frustrations of this horrible ailment just as
much as those of us who are financially disadvantaged.

But, does he know what it feels like not to have caregivers, because you cant
afford to supplement the $9,00 a night that the state is prepared to pay? Or,
does he know what it feels like to have your children placed in foster care?
I think not.

And that is the point I was trying to make. That his viewpoint is not the only
one, and that his story is only part of the whole.

Innsofar as it goes, I feel he has done an excellent job. He has presented
himself very well, and caused a lot of needed attention too be focussed on PD.
And I thank him for that.
