Thank you Bob and Linda, Mr. Ali and Mr. Fox,

Mr. Fox, please work with all of the Parkinson's community rather than
one organization exclusively.

I am still scarred financially and emotionally from the trip I made with
a Maine CNA all the way to the NPF in Miami, in May , 1985 to be
evaluated for pallidotomy. The NPF called us at the hotel just 3 hours
before the scheduled appointment to confirm--but no doctor ever showed
up!!

I invested $2200.00 , when my annuak income was $8300 (SSDI), in the
medical part of the trip, which also allowed me a rare visit to see my
dad, and a chance to rest for a week in Florida, after a brutal winter in
Maine.

I got no apology, no help, no new appointment---but I eventually buried
my pain, rather than sue the NPF I was already too exhausted even then
to do anything but pick up the pieces and move on.

This scandal rocked the Parkinson's community, but money talks. I'm
leaving this topic now, as it is way too awful to go further.

Mr. Muhammad Ali recently wrote me (typed by his personal assistant, Kim)
to thank me for all the work I am doing for our community

God Bless Mr. Fox, Mr. Ali and the rest of us. Mr. Fox with you and
Mr. Ali both helping us, we are all beginning to believe a cure iis
really within reach.
