Marjorie: I know that I am late in responding to your post. But I wanted you to know that I too have had "doxys" and when we lost our last little friend I grieved for such a long time (still do, if truth be known). It helped me to write a "letter" to Muffin, about a week after she died. In it I tried to express some of my strong and loving feelings toward this wonderful little mutt, that had become such a good part of our life. My best to you. Time heals. Duane Yothers
