Bonnie, As promised I did some checking aound the health club today. You may allready have this information, but there is an exercise mach called the "cross trainer" that you stand on some big rubber pedals and do a walikng motion, but your feet never lose contact with the pedals. and there are big grab bars to hold on to, both at your sides and crossways in front of you. It looks to me as it would be a safe exercise maching for anyone with balance problems to use. But I have no qualifications to judge that. I like to ride a bike that has moving handle bars, which you can pump without your feet being on the pedals, it helps me keep my hands and arm muscles in good tone. Lanier 63/2 Chattanooga, Tn.
