In Outlook Express you can do as follows:
Press: CTRL+SHIFT+F
Type: (Subject: )the name (or part) of the subject
Press: ENTER
After reading you can search for the next item with the same subject
or go back to the top of the digest (with CTRL+HOME) and start the next
search.
In other email-clients are simular search-functions.
