So many of you have sent messages to me and you can never know how touched I am
that you even remember me. I "dropped out" of the PD list so long ago.

Jim's cancer is awful. He is so young and was so healthy all his life. He
retired from the federal court last year and we had a plan...Jim loves
mountains...all kinds of mountains...and since I seem to be able to control my
PD pretty well we were going to pack up our mountain gear and head for t he
hills.

But life isn't always fair so we are setting up our house to hospice specs and
instead of backpacks we are installing an electric bed and worrying about
whether a wheelchair will be able to go through our door frames.

Yes Don Berns we are making the most of the present moments. They are very
special now....Barb

(JG would you send this on please- I haven't been on the PD listserv for
years)
