Right now I am listening to Vic Damone singing this wonderful song and I am wondering why I am feeling sad. While I am listening to this I am reading the many unsettling mailings, so many caustic and downright snippy. When and why did this happen?? I have been on this list and diagnosed the same time period which is only 2 years. Within a matter of a few months I was able to print out so many pages of pertinent info for a new parkie. This was SO comforting to me because I had no idea what and where I was heading. What I am getting at, where is the info and the discussion about this condition we are living with. We are constantly gaining new people with it or care givers and what kind of help are we giving these people? Shame on us, those who need us now and what are we doing--bickering and sniping- just like Congress. Shame on us. I have only been diagnosed for 2 years, I know I am going to regress and knowing this I hope I can rely on my friends on this list to guide and help me. THIS IS WHY WE USE THIS THIS MOST WONDERFUL LISTSERVE. Please don't distort this. Put the egos aside and get back to what this list is meant to be. May this new year bring a more forgiving heart to all of us.
