William, Heavens no -- no offense at all. I appreciate your suggestions and hope you (and others) will keep 'em coming. I agree about the similarities in issues related to management and control of PD and Diabetes. They can overlap in several ways: for example, on occasion, I am unclear as to whether what I am feeling (when weak) is an "off" or "freezing" PD moment, or a low blood sugar, or both; and, longer term, there has been considerable confusion by the MD's and me as to whether the intense ulnar neuropathy in my hands arises as a diabetic or a PD comlication. I have not recently considered an insulin pump (earlier, when I did consider it, I didn't seem the right sort of candidate -- but perhaps it's worth a look again). And the sinemet pump is a new idea for me, which I'll explore with my neuro. Thanks, John Bachman
