My mother Joyce (69, striatonigral degeneration) is having trouble keeping her balance. This is a big problem at night when she gets up to use the bathroom -- she fell early in the week on her back and head. She has a walker near her bed, but cannot lift it (she's currently in terrific pain from what she believes is a pull in her thigh and cannot bear weight on her left leg at all). Can anyone recommend something that can be kept close to her bed at night to assist her to the bathroom -- something perhaps with wheels and not too cumbersome. Thanks. Debbie White [log in to unmask]
