Barbara: Excellent work Barbara! This should reduce the traffic considerably and make it easier for those with limited resources to take advantage of this fine list. You might alert those with 'cut and paste' capability that in order to send to the list in general, they can override the system default of the FROM insert by the following method: (Assumes they have the FULLHDR option for the subscription) 1) highlight the SENDER portion of the address "Parkinson's Information Exchange" <[log in to unmask]> in the incoming message to which they want to respond to the list 2) Select Edit then COPY -OR- CTRL & Letter C (for copy) 3) Select Reply 4) Highlight the TO: of the message which should be the individual who orginated the initial message 5) Select Edit then PASTE -OR- CTRL & Letter V (for paste) OR THEY can use the Address Book capability of their Mail program 1) Highlight the TO: field (or delete the TO: name manually) 2) Enter the Address field name for the LIST One other item for the SLTCL's (Somewhat Less Than Computer Literate) When Replying to a message one should delete most or all of the message to which one is planning a response. To to this........ Highlight the portions of the text of the message just received that are shown in the reply message area. This is done by placing the cursor at the beginning of the text to be deleted and while holding the left mouse button down, drag the cursor toward the bottom of the message. Let the button up when the text you want deleted has been highlighted. Then hold down the CTRL butten and hit the letter X. The highlighted area will then be deleted and not transmitted when responding. Again, great work Barbara **************************************************************************** ******* At 13:32 12/21/1998 -0500, you wrote: >Hi, List folks....the change has been made!
