F :-) ******************************************************************** A brief note for our List-founder, Barb Patterson: Barb Mallut has done a wonderful thing. By getting onto the Leeza show, she has made a HUGE and exciting break-through, one with wave upon wave of positive reverberation, extending far into our struggling community of PWP's and CG's (caregivers). Here is an instance when automatic posts to the List would be so encouraging to me, and people like me. Seeing everyone's thoughts will amplify and enliven our cross-talk, and encourage isolated and depressed PWP's and CG's to MAKE CONTACT. This is one important way that we can all develop a broader, more talkative community! Being connected is SO-O-O important! Each of us on the List who do not wish to see it clogged could decide if their own posts are to be restricted to one individul receiver. Some of us, like me, are so isolated. Many of us are mute, as you know, and actually use the cyber-talk to replace their lost vocal cords. Barb's accomplishment, and the surrounding reaction, creates RIGHT NOW a situation in which the old format would be more encouraging.to those among us who are battling loneliness and depression. Please consider returning the list to the original fomat as soon as possible. So many of us would be helped so much. I also sincerely respect those of us who are uncomfortable with too many posts, and I understand that at times, this can be discouraging. I personally would rather delete messages then not see them at all. Thank you, Barb Patterson for all that you are doing. Ivan
