Thanks to the person responsible for putting the Bad Writing Awards on the list. It is instructive. As an editor I have been unhappy for years about the use of jargon, and wish that certain words (site, negotiating, ideology, etc.) could be banished from our vocabulary. More more importantly, the level of writing in the humanities has declined. We need to be alert. So again thanks.
