This may be of interest to any PWP who is a Veteran. Delda and I have had a
couple of exchanges off list but I think they should be on list too. Her
husband is a veteran but not during a war period. Does being a veteran mean
someone who has been in the service regardless of when, or is a veteran
someone who was in the service during a war period. Anybody know the
answer to that question?
I had posted earlier that my husband had received a large number of drugs,
a very thorough physical which included ekg, blood work, urine, prostate,
etc. He has had a visit with the audiologist and is being fitted for a
hearing aid.
We were not asked for any payment at the time of the visits but yesterday a
bill came for $153.40 which included:

3 outpatient care visits at 45.80 each.
Copays of $2.00 each for Clonazepam,30 tabs .5mg
Sinemet CR, 100/25, 30 day supply ($4) Alendronate
 60 day supply
                           Ibuprofen 600mg 6o tabs
                                 Multivitamin/Minerals 90 tabs,
So far no mention of Mirapex Copay but surely there will be one. He got a
30 day supply. I have no idea how much all these drugs cost but it has to
be in the hundreds. Has anyone else had experiences with the Veteran's
Health Care Service? Thanks, Rosemary Dexter cg for Dex 74/6
