If your husband has threatened you with physical violence, LEAVE the
house. Don't wait until it happens again. If you feel you can't leave,
have another person stay with you. The only options I know of are, get
out, get him out or get help in. Please do not stay in a situation where
your well-being..even your life..is threatened. A good friend of mine
was in a similar situation to yours. On Sunday, she will have been dead
for five years...murdered, brutally murdered, by her husband. He was a
physician; she was an Associate Professor of Nursing...the last couple on
earth anyone would expect violence from..but she's dead and he's in
prison. Please, please do not risk your life by staying there. Barb
