HI Natasha,

Requip is used routinely in more advanced PD. I,  for instance, am taking 28
mg of Requip per day,  (more than the package insert  max. recommended dose)
because any more than  my 600 mg of levodopa per day causes severe
dyskinesia and this minimizes the levodopa I have to take. Often requip is
used prior to starting sinemet but that is by far not its only use.
