Betty,

Special training in Movement Disorders  is done as a fellowship after a general Neurology
residency.  I don't believe it is a sub-specialty that is "boarded"  meaning that there probably is
not a formal exam and therefore no "Official Designation"  The  AMA has a database which gives
physicians training.  Look for someone boarded in Neurology who shows specific interest in PD and
has had involvement with a Movement Disorders Program preferably a fellowship in their background.
