I take Permax (1/2 mg. 3-4x day) and Sinemet (1/2 tablet of 25/100 3x day). I was tortured by RLS (all night, every night) until I started the Permax. My neurologist perscribed the Permax to stretch the Sinemet effect, not for RLS, but it cured my RLS immediately. It has been about 18 months now with no return. I take the last Permax about 8 pm. No side effects except a hint of an hallucination once in a while (I see my Labrador in 2 places at the same time). It scared me the first time but it hasn't gotten any worse I hope this is helpful.
