My husband Ron, is experiencing more OFF or "down" time recently. For
periods of 1 1/2 to 2 hours he says he feels paralysed and has what he
describes as a steel band below his chest. He has great difficulty
breathing in this state and speech is almost impossible as he says he
has no strength. We question is it "just" Parkinsons or effects of
medications. He takes Sinimet CR (50/200)totalling 1600 to 1800 mg. per
24 hours. He was diagnosed in 1989. We wonder if others experience
anything similar when OFF. Weight loss has been considerable since onset
of described conditions. Any help, suggestions would be most
appreciated.
               Thank you,
                        Maureen for Ron.67.
