Anne --Peter has taken Propulsid? Cisapride tablets for several years, but
he takes 2 about 15-30 min. before each meal, none at bedtime. The
purposes are as you describe. Thjey seem helpful, and present no problems
for him---were prescribed by his neuro. he also takes generic Sinemet,
which is labeled "carbidopa/levodopa", in case that is what you referred to
below. .

>I can speak about prepulsid /cisapride as I started on it this year.
>It is not for the PD except that it encourages proper digestion and
>thus better take up of the PD meds. It also stops reflux. It is to be
>taken half an hour before meals and at bed time. It is of some help with
>constipation.
>
>I dont recognise the carbi levo meds but they seem to be a low amount
>per day
>More Comments Anyone??
