If you didn't catch the State of The Union Speech here in the US PD was the first of only 4 diseases
mentioned by the President when discussing medical research. While it is a small victory it does
reflect a major change in our visability over a period of juist a few years. I want to thank Jim
Cordy, PAN and all the others iincluding celebreies likeMuhammad Ali and Michael J. Fox who have
helped to raise Parkinson's Disease higher in the public (and legislative) consciousness. It
ain't much but we've come a long way-
