Hilary, Have you considered talking to a Certified Bathroom Designer? They can be found in the yellow pages. Look in the supermarket for the "special interest" publications (usually by Better Homes and Gardens and others big magazines) that only feature Kitchens and Baths. You will get ideas of available products. There are many accessible products on the market and they are attractive/no longer institutional looking. Hope this helps. Joan
