Inverse Association Between Smoking And Parkinson's Disease Reinforced

WESTP0RT, Jan 21 (Reuters Health) - New evidence adds support to the
notion that smoking protects against the development of Parkinson's
disease (PD). In a population-based case-control study, Dr.  Jay M.
Gorell, of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a
multicenter team examined smoking and alcohol consumption in 144 PD
patients and 464 matched controls.
