RE FAQ.

I think this is such a good idea that we can go ahead with it rather quickly. What steps do we have
to take? I am brainstorming here and the following list of ideas are just that - brainstorming-
and in no particular order.

1. We need- like Janet has already done to collect a list of faq's and answers that have essentially
been written.

2. We need volunteers to write, edit make user friendly the questions and answers.

3. I think if we broke down the questions into 3 to 5 categories, like PD
- medical aspects -
-the list and how to access it and keep the volume manageable- e.g. use of John's Web Page, use of
filters, how to post and netequate( and I say this to INCREASE POSTS and encourage more people to
contribute- a lot of newbees are frightened and are fearful that they will say something wrong),
-Use of Non-traditional treatments.
- Day to day living with PD

4. As I start writing this I am recognizing that I am suggesting we write a several volume
encyclopedia rather than a FAQ list. Some how we need to find a way to limit the topics. I do
think we have enough information to write a book using the archives and the brains of 1700 current
subscribers (even though some of those brains are dopamine deficient they are full of knowledge
about how to live with PD ) But this grandiocity gets us off the subject at hand.

5. How are we going to publicize and distribute the faqs?

6, I would want Barb Patterson to have final say over anything that goes out as from the list.

7. The above are just random thoughts. Take the ideas for what they are worth- which may be less
than the paper they're (not) written on.
