Watched Entertainment Tonight 1/26/99 and saw MJFox at the award show thanking his surgeon for the operation that allows him to still act on Spin City tv show. He joked some about the dr opening up his head and seemed positive that this surgery will give him years to perform which he stated is not a bad way to make a living. A diff surgeon was interviewed and explained the closeness a brain surgeon feels to his patients...a big responsibility. Several actors including Dick Clark, who stated his father had PD, were interviewed and stated they were inspired by Michael's courage and positive attitude. I'm still dreaming of the day when all pwp, including me and MJFox will be CURED of pd and giving interviews re: our improved quality of life.
