Ivan: I must agree with Dale Severance in that you are in error in calling for a boycott of NPF. As I read Dale's post, I believe he gave you a way to right the wrong that you believe occurred to you. Dale said, 'If you were a man about it and were sincere in your belief that your position was correct you would have long ago submitted the claim to the small claims court for resolution. The cost to submit to small claims court is nominal and I would put the fee up for you if you would get off this topic.'. I concur with Dale that small claims court action should have been initiated long ago. You would likely have resolved the matter some time ago. I don't understand why you call for a boycott of NPF when you state in your post 'In any case, I do not believe in suing Parkinson's organizations. That is totally out of my belief system. Why divide us up when unity is our goal?'. It truly sounds to me as if you aren't reasoning properly or just want to create a position which will draw sympathy from outside your immediate world but not necessarily resolve the problems as you see them. You say 'Dale, what I am saying by boycott is, that if enough people suspend their financial support for the NPF, including you, the NPF decision-makers would compensate me for the $2200 loss, and that would be the end of the conflict.'. If everyone suspended their contributions and volunteerism to NPF, they would have to cease all activity....Research for a cure, payment to their staff, funding of special activities, public literature, etc. They wouldn't have the funds to pay you the $2200 you state as being owed to you. However, if you were to file suit to reclaim the expenditures, NPF would have to respond and would still be able to fund the 'fight for the Cure' that all of us so desperately wish to be provided. Please try to take this as a suggestion to resolve the problem you find facing you. Best wishes.....Jack 0000,8080,0000*********************************************************** 8080,0000,8080E.
