CASLLers Earlier in the year the question of Inkshed was raised, yet again. The problem seems two-fold: mostly it's a matter of getting content, but it's also a matter of doing the editing and distributing. Roger Graves mentioned that he'd be willing to help, and Rhonda Schuller suggested that there might be class projects here. Will Garrett-Petts and I discussed this a few weeks ago, and would like to get response to a development of Rhonda's suggestion. At UCC we're introducing a course on publishing that will tie the publication of TSC to classroom work. This class might also work on the Inkshed newsletter, perhaps incorporating some of that into TSC as well. We might even prod some of you into writing an article arising from discussions arising on CASLL. Further, we could excerpt some of the CASLL discussions--maybe even generating some topics for discussion--in a special "Conversation about the Discipline in Canada" section. In this way we would get issue relating to rhetoric/pedagogy in Canada into libraries and onto the Web. If we want to keep the paper version of INkshed, the class could do one issue a year, I'm sure, but I won't offer more than that right now. Any feedback? Is there enough support for some of these ideas (you might offer your suggestions as well) for Will and me to take this back for further discussion?
