Dear Ivan,

I'm glad to hear that you respect the work being done at NPF, and if that
is try then you will understand why it is so important that all our money
go to research and education. We can not possibly hold ourselves
responsible for reimbursing everyone that either waits or misses a doctors
appointment. Doctors schedules are hectic

I do not recall ever admitting that what happened to you was any of NPF's
fault. If I stated it was a secretarial mistake, then I certainly meant the
UM secretary that made the appointment for Dr. Ramos. There is not a single
NPF employee on the 2nd floor of this building, and there hasn't been for
over 10 years. All the doctors, assitants, etc. on the 2nd floor are UM
people. NPF trains the UM neurologists to be movement disorder specialists
and lends them space in our building where they have access to the latest
information on Parkinson's disease.

As I have stated before, I work for NPF because I have believe in the
organization and it's mission. My grandfather has Parkinson's disease, and
I have watched him decline over the past three years. It's heart wrenching
for me and the only thing that gives me hope is coming to work each day
making a difference.

Ivan, I'm sorry that more than three years after the incident you are still
dwelling on it. It seems every few months you feel the need to bring it up
again. May I suggest for your sake, you use your energy in a more
productive manner.

Melinda
