Dear List-folks....

It appears I've had a text-book case of shingles since last Friday
morning. I have an appointment with my internist late this afternoon
to find out if it is indeed shingles (I'd have gone to the doctor
sooner but kept expecting whatever it was to go away.) <it didn't,
and just kept getting worse> (OWIE!!!)

I'd like to be prepared with a "drugs incompatibility list," when I
walk into the doctor's office, in order to make sure that any of the
PD-related drugs I take won't cause negative side effects when taken
with shingles-related drugs (if there IS any shingles drugs out
there)

For what it's worth, I take Sinemet 25/250, and Sinemet CR 50/200,
1/2 of a 20 mg Paxil for PD, and imipramine and Ditropan (last two
are spelled phonetically),

I know that shingles is a herpes foster virus, but have absolutely no
idea what is used to treat it.

Any information regarding the drugs (NOT about the disease, please,
as I've got TONS of info 'bout it off the Web) would be appreciated
as there was no information commenting on PD drugs and shingles drugs
working together that I came across.

Thanks for your help, People....
