Carol, review will be a more frequent event for those of us on SSDI with
government cutbacks.

In review they want to know through medical records if the diagnosis is the
same and you have been seeing the doctor on a regular basis and taking the
treatment. The doctors records will record changes in your condition and
other conditions that may have occurred. If you have have cataracts for
example or have had your driving privileges removed because of your
condition are important facts. In short all of your conditions are additive
in the review. Leave nothing out. Evaluation by a movements disorder
specialist and his report of his findings is one of the best documents. SS
will not seek out the records...you have to present your own evidence.

They will also review if you have been working by checking SS records for
earnings. If you have worked you may lose your coverage. The definition of
disability for SSDI is the inability to work at any job. Taking a "paupers"
oath is required to obtain SSDI.

Given your age, education and condition are there any jobs in numbers that
you could reasonable fill? This answer has to be no.

Congress and the American taxpayers want to be sure that no one on SSDI has
a miraculous recovery without them knowing about it.

One article, What Parkinsonians Should Know about SSDI, by Dr. Scovern
describes the SSDI process. It is at:

We all will have to undergo review.
