I like the idea of Posters having a choice who to send their replies to. We did do it in the past. However, the new system makes it easier to reply. Psychologically, much can be said to making choices, for they add to one's sense of being. It has been said by a very important Philosopher, " That only by making many many choices does one finally reach a state of numbness and Grace"
