In years past, we used Ephedrine, a simple blood-pressure-elevating
drug to keep the BP up in Parkinsons patients.  A dose of 25 mg.
three or four times a day seemed to be effective.  "Hard-core" cases
still required Florinef, however.  Has Ephedrine been tried?
