I dissevered quite by accident that imipramine (Tofranil) helped me with a bad drooling problem that I had following my second, bilateral pallidotomy. Imipramine is really an anti-depressant which, however, I began taking for excessive urination and its drying out effect helped both my urination and my drooling. Earlier, my neurosurgeon tried me out on robynil--- mild tranquilizer---with some benefit, but not much. When you have it bad, like I did, chewing gum helps. Marty Polonsky
