Gee but it's sure nice to know somebody out there cares....many thanks. It's hard for me to open up re my PD. Was diagnosed and confirmed 3-1/2 yrs ago but I never really accepted it 'til recently. Last summer I got "a bee in my bonnet" to stop eldypril. So I did...big mistake. Restarted in about 10 days and added sinemet.My system could not tolerate sinemet(vomiting,rapid weight loss); switched to parlodel (small dosage).So far so good..now up to 1/day and will increase dosage next week. Right now am having problems with: loss of balance, slow moving & eating,,hoarseness and difficulty getting words out,swallowing, excess saliva, no taste,blurring of vision(reading,watching TV or just sitting),walk in small fast steps, posture and don't sleep (about 2-3 hrs at night).There are a few more but don't happen regularly. My meds are (all not related to PD): eldypril,parlodel,doxepin,calan SR,lasix,lopressor,ultram,prozac,prilosec & xanas(sm.dosage). Don't know much about PD but want to learn all I can.
