Here is another update on Carmel, my mother in law- we have disputed the
diagnosis of Parkinson and this was supported by the new pcp. She also
ordered another MRI which was done Tuesday evening- and low and behold -
this new MRI show no evidence of hydrocephalus----the previous one
diagnosed that 3 of the 4 ventricles were dilated with a dx of normal
pressure hydro - can you believe this??????

What we probably have here is a common happening in the elderly- a
stroke which she had symptoms of in the hospital - but no one paid any
attention to it. So we go bavk to the PCP Wednesday and the following to
the neurologist so he can compare the actual films and reports and see
which one is actually correct......is there anyone in Houston that knows
what they are doing in the medical field??????? What did that first
neurologist see??? or what did the second one miss. And all this does is
delay care
will keep you all informed of the continuing saga until these doctors
either manage to cause her death (heaven forbid) or she dies of natural
causes.
