I looked at the freepc page. The first hint is that the hard disk is 4 gig but only 2 gig available. Ah Ha!! The 2 gig unavailable is full of advertising which you would see continuously on your screen - updated whenever they wish and you are connected to the net. The offer says you get the computer for 2 years - then what happens?????. It looks like a gimmick of some sort. Supposedly the advertising is built around your profile - they ask umpteen questions about age likes etc. Interestingly enough they do not ask for Master charge etc. Will keep you'all posted.
