Hello everyone, I joined this list yesterday, mainly out of curiosity. I do not have PD myself but my father has. I live in the Netherlands and although I've enjoyed a reasonably extended course in English, most medical terms aren't very clear to me so I hope you'll still be able to understand me when I'm writing to this list. My main topic of interest is the combination between PD and diabetes which my father has. Doctors here don't know, or maybe aren't sure, if either has any effect on the other and I would really like to hear it if there's anyone who has any experiences with this or can give me some information about it. I've searched on the Internet but the information I can find there is all about either illness and not the combination of both. I am reading all the information I've gotten here so far with great interest and I hope that it will stay this way for a while. If there's any specific information required (like the used medication) I'll provide it. Johan.
