Shortage of (ugh) Palmetto Bugs?

Everyone down at Hank's Pancake House this morning has been talking
about the infamous South Florida cockroach, and apparently with good
reason. Traditionally the subject of ridicule and scorn, and often on
the World's Most Disgusting Species List, the lowly bug may finally have
found its place in the sun...and snow. Fishermen in Parkinsaw are
excited with the possibilities of the bug as a new bait; Parkinsaw
parkies on the plump side from too many bratwurst, meat pies (pasties)
and Neuro Dark Lager are interested in the dietary angle; and, the local
Fisherman's Guild has discovered still another potential use for this
heretofore obscure super roach. (Look for more details in the Sunday
newsletter). Could the Palmetto Bug be the next killer product of the
new millennium? Is current supply sufficient to meet projected need?
