Ivan, Nita, et al....

Archbishop Tutu is a sophisticated prelate who I'm SURE is able to
comprehend the pain and frustration felt by so many persons with
Parkinson's live with on a daily basis.

After all, he's been an outspoken AND outstanding advocate against
injustice against his own people, as well as other such injustices
suffered by humanity by the HANDS of humanity for a GREAT many years.

Based upon THAT, I seriously doubt he needs "coaching" from List
members about what to say in expressing his compassion and
understanding of and for people with who struggle with and against
Parkinson's disease.

I'm also sure that when Archbishop Tutu aids an individual OR a group
of individuals by lending his much respected name to their cause,
it's done not only thoughtfully, but without expectation of fawning
thanks. He's giving because he genuinely cares about PEOPLE, not
because he cares about getting THANKED for caring.

And Ivan.... SMACK! Get outta yer "Searching for 'phobics" mode!
It's inappropriate in this case, and an insult to Archbishop Tutu as
well as your fellow List members.

(Ivan... I love ya ANYWAY, but you can be SUCH a dufus sometimes!)
<ducking>
