The difference is that you can access it from any Internet capable computer anywhere in the world. To access your [log in to unmask] account you have to dial up your local service provider so if you wanted to get your [log in to unmask] e-mail from anywhere in the world, you would have to call Long Distance to your service provider in Ohio. To access Hot Mail accounts you just go to their web page and type in your password so there is no long distance when you're not at home. It sounds to me like your daughter could use a Hot Mail account to keep in touch with you if she's away on speaking tours. All the best to you and your wife and your smart daughters.
