I have an 81 year old mother who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease six years ago. Her neurologist retired and the new one does not seem to be what we are looking for. Does anyone know of someone in the Pontiac or Southfield (Michigan) area who specializes in treating Parkinson's Disease. She lives in Waterford but is willing to travel a ways to find a good doctor. One of her biggest problems is weakness in her legs when walking and numbness in her legs when she first wakes up in the morning. Does anyone else have these symptoms?
