Hello Kathrynne and ALL SUPPORT GROUP LEADERS AND MEMBERS:

Please call Bill Turenne at the Parkinson Alliance Hqtrs,
1-888-331-4673,
and ask him send you the "Pennies for Parkinson's" material for
Support
Groups.

There is no cost for you to receive this -- just ask your members to
bring their jars of pennies and brainstorm during the next meeting
about methods to use to raise money for PD research. By the way, is
your group listed on the database that Dale Severance has been
collecting and updating for the past year? If not, please
give information to Bill when you speak with him.

If you are inquiring about educational material that NPF has
available, a large selection at no cost, call (800)327-4545 or visit
the NPF website at: www.parkinson.org and select "Library".

TODAY'S THOUGHT:
Let's grow flowers, vegetables and $$$$ for PRO-Seed Grants this
spring.
Order your FREE seed packets today from the Parkinson Alliance,
888-331-4673.

Here is a 'fecund' idea, let's contact seed companies and ask for seed
packets to be made up with the PA Logo and have a percentage of the
company's profits armarked for PD research. Anyone wants to take up
this challenge and run with it??
Report back with results, and add your very own idea
(strange/crazy/???) on how we can grow PRO-Seed Grants????

Warm regards,
Margaret
