Ruth: You asked how an all day supply of liquid Sinemet is prepared and then taken in doses throughout the day. My mother has PD and what my father does is take 6.5 Sinemet tablets (she averages about 650mg total per day; each tablet is 100 mg) dissolves them in 650 ml of water and adds some powdered Vitamin C to the liquid. When it is time for her dose he shakes the container well and pours out 85 ml of the concoction which is equivalent to 85mg of Sinemet. And she then drinks the dose.
