I'm an Easterner .... love N.Y., Pennsylvania and the mountains and the shore. Yet.. my Parkie is indeed Scandinavian worthy of Parkinsaw, stubborn, tall (very) and fiercely fighting to the last sinemet tablet. AND my daughter lives in Rochester, MN and wants us to relocate near to her so she and he husband can take care of us. Well it would be nice, Barb, to look eye to eye to many people. (I'm tall too) Why do I hesitate? The New York City area traffic recludes my enjoying many of the good things N.Y. has to offer. Honestly, nice people in Minnesota but my visions are of the frozen tundra I saw from the first plane flight to see her and the children a week before Christmas when they moved in. And I hear the wind howling and the tornado sirens. And I remember that stubborn man shivering forever when she took him to see eagles in the winter, scaring us all to death. In all seriousness, it's a hard decision even with all those St. Olaf concerts to think about and the nuture of the Parkinsawians and a loving family. Virginia Christiansen White Plains, NY [log in to unmask] And I need a house all on one floor ..... If I go, do you think some Parkinsawians will make me feel at home, John?
