Dear Ivan:

While you are speaking out on behalf of Australopithecus and Lucy and
new found relatives in the ancient earths of Tanganyika or thereabouts,
have you ever considered those ancestors to be carriers of PD, and
possibly still latent in those bones.
Or in the event that those branches died out before the advent of
Cro-Magnon and Homo Sapiens,  could PD be a more recent disease,
sociologically speaking? I think that Carbon 14 is not useful for dating

the older fossils, but could other isotopes do the job?
