I was diagnosed 18 years ago when I was 37. Retired ten years ago on
long-term disability. Had a right side pallidotomy in Dec.'93 and left side
DBS of the globuus pallidus in Dec.'94. Both procedures done at The Toronto
Western Hospital and were successful beyond my wildest dreams. I have been
given that most precious gift - a second chance at life
I would be happy to share neurosurgical experiences with others who have
had them or are contemplating them.
