I am taking Sinemet CR, Sinemet and Mirapex for the pd, and if I take all on time, function fairly normally. Unfortunately, I've also broken numerous bones, ruined joints et al so at the ripe old age of 40 I am in great shape for a 80 yr. old man. Wish that was a joke but..... yes I ride when I can. I haven't been able to since before Christmas, but plan to start again this weekend if it doesn't rain. While I ride for pleasure and exercise, most of the time I ride for $. We get quite a bit extra for horses we've (my wife and I) personally trained. The Drs. haven't let me ride for about 18 mo due to busted neck - not broke, just bent bad- but am now cleared to go. I would certainly urge caution if you are a new rider, and have pd BUT DON'T LET EITHER STOP YOU FROM RIDING. Do get someone who knows horses to help you find a new one for you to ride. You need one that is "dog gentle, kid broke, level headed calm". If you aren't real picky about papers, color age etc. you can find one (in TX anyway) for around $1000-1500. I've found several for folks, and know there are plenty in CA (we transport horses anywhere) from the last time I took a load that way. You might have to sell the other 2 if they aren't gentle enough to ride, but if you aren't riding them, it's not fair to them or you. Sorry to preach, but I see so many horses who get in bad habits, bad health etc. from being bored or not played with often enough. I've got to go back to town to teach a horse bowl team, so I better run. I'll be back home around 9:00pm CST if you want to chat bob PS after 2 yrs, you need someone else to ride your horses for about 30 days before you try them! -----Original Message----- From: Janice Morgan <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> Date: Wednesday, March 31, 1999 1:53 PM Subject: Re: ..pot-beey bacon >Hi Bob, > You said it that life can be a drag.
