Bill, Welcome to the listserv. I am 46 and have had PD almost 14 years. Pallidotomy in Dec. '96 for the right side. Contemplating DBS for the left. I have a few questions. 1. Did the same surgeon perform both operations? 2. How long was each surgery? 3. Was recovery about the same for each? 4. Was one procedure more successful than the other? 5.
