We seemed to be circling around the opportunities afforded and issues raised for teachers of distance courses by new technologies, including mobile computing. And we were too talked out to apply the scalpel to our wordiness. As to the session, the debate afterwards was very interesting; there was some wild African music next door so when participants stood up, I was most relieved when they moved forward instead of being enticed away!
