Debbie...

Cosmetic tattooing is pretty common here in the Los Angeles area
(WHAT a surprise, huh?) <wee smirk>.

I have a friend who's had her eyebrows, and around her eyes (both
upper and lower eye-lids) for a "mascara-look." She's also had
her lips done with a light natural pink. She looks terrific and
has had no physical problems from the tattooing. The procedures
were performed by a board certified plastic surgeon.

I'm going to be looking into cosmetic tattooing for myself because
I have two scars on my face (got kicked in the chops by a horse 17
years ago), which CAN be hidden by makeup, but that IS a royal
pain to apply when one's "off." Hence my interest in seeing if
tattooing will be an option instead of going thru a laser peel or
actual surgery to get rid of the scars (I'm determined to have one
or the other done and SOON!

I'll post to the list when I find out more 'bout the various
options available.
