As I remember the deal with MRI and tatoos is that you need to tell them
you have them. The last one I had they asked me if I had any perment eye
makeup (I am male :)) or was there a chance that I may have ever had metal
particles that might be in my eyes.. The anwere was yes to the metal
particles and they put a very small set of glasses on me. They said the MRI
could cause heat to build up and burn the eye. I would ask before i did it
but I don't think it is a hugh problem. The techs where I had my MRI didn't
seem to make a big deal out of it.
